SS-30 is 30% high purity/refined copper flake, mixed in a high temp non-melt base grease formula that not only aids in conductivity, but will work ideally as an anti-seize compound for threaded fasteners and cable connections. SS-30 literally copper plates mated surfaces to improve conductivity or ground continuity. The same is true for threaded fasteners. The highly concentrated copper flake works as a copper plating material under load or compression to work as a dissimilar metal between surfaces.

Low coefficient of friction makes 550 a good choice for rough cut threads made of cast iron, black steel and specially suited for high nickel alloys as a thread lubricant.

SILVER PLUS REGULAR is a Heavy Duty Blend of aluminum, copper and graphite lubricants in a petroleum grease base. It is a non-drying, soft-set anti-seize, specially formulated to work with aluminum, carbon steel, black iron and rough cut threads. SILVER PLUS REGULAR protects metal parts from rust corrosion, seizing and galling up to 982°C. The micro-sized particles produce a smooth consistency and allow it to quickly coat fine threads and small and large diameter fasteners.

In the higher NLGI grades, SILICONE COMPOUND DM provides excellent lubrication and sealing properties for plug and gate valves, stuffi ng boxes, o-rings, vacuum and pressure systems. JET-LUBE 21 has been specifically designed to prevent excessive makeup, prevent stretched pins or belling of the box members. Consistent circumferential makeup prevents high stress levels to prolong thread and shoulder life. JET-LUBE 21 is recommended for the entire drill string in most drilling conditions. Typical applications would be deep holes, high angle holes, problem holes involving high temperatures, whip stocks, and horizontal drilling applications.

Jet-Lube NCS-30 is a premium quality, nonmetallic compound containing chemically inert fibres, gall preventers, friction controllers, EP and AW additives. These are blended into Jet-Lube biodegradable calcium complex base grease, which gives a wide temperature range, superior adhesion to wet steel surfaces, resistance to water wash-off and the ability to withstand inverted and high pH muds. From an environmental standpoint, NCS-30 ECF is biodegradable, bioaccumulation potential-free and non-toxic to all kinds of life. In order to achieve this rating, a thread compound must degrade by more then 60% in the first 28 days of exsposure to sea-water.
NCS-30 ECF can also be used for the connection of casing and tubing, particularly effective at protecting high chrome and stainless connections, altough up to 40% additional torque may be required for correct makeup depending upon connection design (test a connection before running).
